place one knee and the corresponding hand firmly on a flat bench for support, ensuring your torso is parallel to the ground with a flat back. With your other foot planted on the floor, grip a dumbbell with a neutral (palms-in) grip and let it hang at arm's length. Execute the movement by pulling the weight toward your hip—rather than your chest—keeping your elbow tucked close to your side and driving it toward the ceiling. Focus on squeezing your shoulder blade toward the center of your back at the top of the lift, then slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting position to fully stretch the latissimus dorsi. This exercise effectively targets the "lats," rhomboids, and traps while building unilateral strength and core stability.
